China Education Database, with sources from National Bureau of Statistics and China's Ministry of Education, incorporates statistics of China's universities and colleges, secondary schools, primary schools, kindergartens and special schools in terms of education scale, teaching conditions, students and faculty, funds, and S&T activities in universities colleges. This database not only works as a reference for educational departments and institutions to make plans and advance reform, but also supports the study on educational reform and development and promote the spread of universities’ S&T activities among people of all walks of life. Since 1949, data have been updated yearly.
World education database reflects the basic status of development of the world education, its statistical data starts in 1999, and data is updated in units of the year. The statistical data include the scope of education system, schooling years of different stages of education, population and economy, the number of students, faculty numbers, the enrollment rate, expenditure on education, etc. Main indicators involves the number of school-age population, the number of students in school, the percentage of repeaters, the rate of children drop out of school, etc.
